Questions
How many people can be in the photo?
Groups work. Faces stay recognizable in most group shots, though the more people in frame the smaller each face is in the final piece — so a wider print size suits a large group better than a small one.
Can you combine two photos into one painting?
No. Each piece is made from a single photograph. Combining people from separate photos is compositing, which is a different job from what this does.
Can I see it before I pay anything?
Yes. Uploading, generating, and previewing it on a wall are free with no account. You pay only if you order a print or buy the file.
What happens to the photo I upload?
It's used to create your piece and nothing else — never displayed, published, or sold. Email hello@vistelastudio.com to have it deleted.
What size works for a family piece?
For a group, bigger genuinely reads better: 18″×24″ upward keeps individual faces legible. A framed canvas arrives ready to hang inside a pine floating frame.
Can I send it as a gift?
Yes. Checkout collects the shipping address, so you can send it straight to them at a US address. Select “This is a gift” to add a note — it’s printed on the packing slip, and no prices appear on it. If it arrives damaged or misprinted, reply to your order confirmation within 30 days of delivery with a photo and it’s replaced or refunded — they won’t need to send anything back.
How long does it take to arrive?
The artwork itself is ready in about a minute. Prints are made to order — usually 2–5 business days to make, then 3–4 business days to ship within the US, so most orders arrive in about one to two weeks. You'll see an arrival estimate before you pay, and your confirmation email includes one too — usually checked against the actual delivery address. Both are estimates, not promised dates. Shipping is free within the US.
Is the artwork AI-generated?
Yes — digitally created from your photo and professionally printed on canvas or paper, not hand-painted. We say so everywhere we sell.
