Should I paint the house, or something from inside their life?
Either. A painting of the house itself is the obvious choice for a housewarming, and a wide photo of the front elevation works best. A favourite place, a pet, or a photo from the move works just as well.
What photo of a house works best?
A wide, straight-on daylight photo with the whole building in frame. Bright midday sun and heavy shadow are the two things that cause trouble; overcast light is usually kinder.
Can you remove something from the photo?
Usually, yes. Ask in plain words — “leave out the parked car” — and it follows. And you see the result free before you pay, so you can check rather than hope.
Can it ship straight to them?
Yes. Checkout collects the shipping address directly. Tick “This is a gift” and your note is printed on the packing slip; no prices appear on it either way.
What happens to the photo I upload?
It's used to create your piece and nothing else — never displayed, published, or sold. Email hello@vistelastudio.com to have it deleted.
